Pierre vogel, also known as Abu Hamza, was a german boxer who reverted to Islam in 2001.
Vogel embraced Islam in 2001 and started Islamic studies in Germany.[3] For two years he studied Arabic and the Quran at the private school Om Al-Qura [4] in Mecca and started 2006 teaching Islam in mosques, Universities and even amongst Christian congregations.
Vogel is married to a Moroccoan woman and is father of two children
