Eid mubarak.
How we could possibly help/advise this brother?
May Allah guide us to the straight path, aamin.
Jazakumullahu khayran.

May :Allah: assist our brother in Islam.
The remedy for OCD or strong whispers& insinuations from accursed Shaytaan is avoiding being alone, strict adherence to acts of worship according to Qur’aan & Sunnah and avoidance of dwelling on the matter.
An example of this is Wudhu and OCD will require a person to wash their hands (or any other body part) multiple times and the way to fight this is:
Firstly, don’t be alone in a situation where you are subject to OCD being in a Masjid with multiple people in a Wudhu facility will get you noticed and someone will stare you or give you funny looks to make you snap out of it. Stick to people and crowd and join collective activity where the activity is pulling the strings and not giving you time to reflect.
Secondly, wash the hand 3 times (as per the Sunnah) and then ignore and force yourself to walk off.
Thirdly, don’t dwell on the thought that after washing three times the limb isn’t properly washed and don’t try to argue back and forth in your mind by saying, “I washed it, I know” and the mind to say “No you didn’t, you left the elbow dry” etc...Simply disregard and move on!
I have discussed a specific example but this can be applied to anything and everything with OCD. In the beginning it will be hard but slowly the brother will learn to control the instincts but it may never actually go away but you can live with it.
The strength needs to be gradually built up and where the brother spends time alone it will come back to bite him!
