Dear brothers and sisters,
Ramadan Mubarak! Hope this post finds you in Good health, Alhamdulilah!
I have always believed that intercession of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) in this life is not possible, i.e., it is haram to ask for Prophet Muhammed(SAW) to pray on behalf of us in this life. Am I right? Because, I don't know the exact hadeeth or ayyaah in Qur'an that says this. I tried to do research online and find different contradicting answers. So, I thought it is wise to ask for proof and evidence in the TTI forum.
One more question, I have also heard that on the day of the Judgement, the Prophet (SAW) will intercede and ask for mercy of Allah for all of us. I also believe that intercession of the Prophet (SAW) is permissible on the day of the Judgement. Am I right on this? Please give me proof or evidence regarding this from hadeeth or Qur'an too. I also heard that the Prophet (SAW) has a dua which he has saved for the day of judgement for his people (the Ummah). While the other prophets (Pbuh) have used them during their lifetimes, Prophet Muhammed (SAW) has saved it for the day of Judgement. Is it true? Please give proofs for this as well.
I hope I didn't ask anything wrong. I find very contradicting answers online and it is very confusing.
Hope Allah helps in finding answers.
Jazakallahu Khair!
Thank you!
