salam,
is anybody here knowledgeable enough to answer me this nagging question?
is there any room for intra-religious pluralism in Islam? in other words, is there any chance that a salafi and a non-salafi school of thought can be both correct on one issue, especially when both the salafi and non-salafi arguments are supported by Quran and Sunnat?
for example, raising the finger in tashhud, most muslims say both methods are correct due to the vast amount of evidence presented by narrators of hadees.
what is the salafi view on this? are only salafis correct? what if a non-salafi scholar presents arguments supported by hadees or sunnat?
