I hope this reaches you in the best health/imaan:)

I have shared a thread *common Errors in Prayer that must be Avoided* which I have copied and pasted on another forum to share with my sisters. anyway, a sister had this question and I quote
Salaam, I have a question.
I read in http://www.geocities.com/darstirmizi1/performsalah#insajdah that women must let their stomach wall rest on their laps in sajdah.
is that the case?
I dont know how to answer this but I am sure one of my brothers and sisters can help me and my sister out.
:wasalam:
Allah hafiz NOW and ALWAYS:)

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

It may be recommended for pregnant women, and if thats the case then its ok to rest the stomach-wall onto the thighs..

But after reviewing the link posted, It says..

7. The thighs should not come in contact with the stomach-wall. The stomach and the thighs should stay apart.

And thats the right positioning while in sujud for both men and women.

And Allah is All Knower.
