A Speech that I am intending to give...how does it sound??

فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious The Most Merciful

I hope that this message finds you in the best of health and Islamic Spirits.

Dearest Muslim brothers and sisters, as we know, Islam is the religion of Allah (SWT). In the early days this religion was preserved by the Holy Prophets that Allah(SWT) chose for certain communities and certain groups of people, to guide them to the right path, to worship their One and Only Lord, to teach them morals, values, tahdhib and akhlaq, and that which pleases Allah(SWT). No matter how harsh the non believers, no matter how ignorant, the Muslims kept their stance and didn’t let go of the true religion of the Almighty God. They fought and strove in the most unbearable circumstances to keep uttering Dhikr, performing Salaat and bearing the Flag of Islam. Today, in our contemporary society, we have did everything to turn our backs on the true religion, the religion of Allah(SWT) and that taught by his Holy Messengers(Peace be upon them all).
We have given ourselves up to the Satan himself yet don’t open our eyes to the truth – the Promise of God that awaits us – either the abundant Jannah under which rivers flow or the blazing Hell fire that shouts on the Day of Judgment to the Creator to increase the fuel of the fire, which is nothing but wrong doers and disbelievers and the ignorant who choose to go on the path of Satan. The youth of today’s generation can be categorized as entirely ‘lost’ people who only choose the glamour and temporary happiness of this life and wish to ignore the eternal life that awaits all Muslims in that world. They choose to impress their temporary friends, whether Muslim or not and whether they share the same gender or not. Parents have let their children go astray, not teaching them of the true path of Islam. Today, you find many young girls that desire to engage themselves in unlawful relationships, young boys who attempt the very difficult role of fathering a child unlawfully, young girls who simply let go of their Hijaab and Islamic identity simply due to the fact that they want to fit in with other young girls who wear revealing clothing, young boys who deny their faith, their prayer, their Prophets teachings, and most importantly their God by calling themselves non Muslims due to the simple insult they are treated with when they are out – terrorist.

Dear Muslims, the Day of Reckoning is not far. It may seem so as we are told that Dajjal is to come and sweep all the Muslims off their feet as he takes them with him (a test we have to pass from Allah (SWT)), the release of Yajuj and Majuj who are also known as Gog and Magog that Isa (alayhis salaam) will spend forty years, Imam Mahdi is yet to come and Islam is to conquer the world – Insha Allah. It all seems a lengthy process and that’s where we go wrong. We tell ourselves that life is long and that we can make up for all the bad deeds that we have committed or repay for them later in life at an old age and instead spend our years of young age maybe an entire decade, maybe two, maybe three in temporary worldly gains that are a real loss in the hereafter. From the above, it is quite evident that Islam is not preserved by ignorant people like that of today, in fact Allah (SWT) has protected His religion against all the odds of today, other religions, and all who aim to weaken us, as they have already proven by demonstrating mass killings in billions due to the mere fact that we say Laillahaillalah Muhammad Rasulullah.

Dear Muslims our aim should be striving in the cause of Allah – Jihad. Today Jihad is a misinterpreted word. We have defined it as “Holy War”. This does not necessarily mean to grab a sword and put you on a battle field in one of the deteriorating countries and kill civilians. No! Jihad is a means of striving in Allah (SWT)’s cause in fourteen different ways. Simply spreading the word of God as this paper serves is also jihad. We shouldn’t be ashamed of our religion just to mix with the many kaafir people that we share a country with. You should never change your personality to suit a circumstance. Instead you should be you and help change the environment around you to suit you. We never know when we are to leave this world and when we are going to our two meters deep grave that awaits us. In that case, instead we should prepare ourselves for the questioning in the grave, the Day of Judgment and standing before our Lord while we are questioned on our every little action that went against the teachings of the Holy Prophets, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with them all. I can guarantee as every body else can that if we knew when we were to leave this world, will we not have spent all the years that have passed in doing good and forbidding the evil? If we don’t know the exact date and time of our death, we know that as every second, every minute, every hour, every day, week, month, year, and every years birthday that passes, we just get closer and closer to death, accentuating that we should spend most of our time in doing good, worshipping, uttering Dhikr, and our every action should resemble that which pleases Allah (SWT).
I pray that as Muslims we succeed in every test that is laid upon us by the Almighty Creator. I pray that we become better Muslims and better ambassadors for our religion. I also pray that one day Insha Allah Islam become the most fastest spreading religion of the world and we all, with one voice, one body, to recite our Kalimah and be the torch bearers of this One true religion.
Jazaak Allah
