I have another questionn...lool, im soo sorry. Okay, my dad was going to take us to the movie theaters,,,,, to watch something halal, dont worry,,,,, but i didnt want to go because in all movies there is backround music. so anywayzz, i told my dad i didnt want to go and my dad is said that i can stay home if my elder brother stays with me. now, my brother DID want to go so i made a deal with him that if he stays home with me, i'll give his 10$ (LoL) and he agreed. NOWWWW, im not sure if im doing the right thing because he could use it on something haramm. Can you help me???? You think I'm doing the right thingggg?? thn*!*!*!*!*!*!x wasalamzzzzzzzzzzzz

May Allaah aid you and reward you. Allaah knows best, perhaps you could ask a Shaykh. Generally speaking, if I know or am pretty sure that one I'm giving money to will use it on haraam, I avoid it. This doesn't answer you question, but this is what I do. Subhaan Allaah the other day a brother jumped onto the bus, didn't pay, gave me salaams, gave a "khutbah" and then asked for money. He smelt of booze, so I said I couldn't and he jumped off the bus the next stop. Allaahu musta`aan. Giving a khutbah to receive 50p of charity!

In my opinion i think it's his money. you gave it to him beacuse you made a deal with him and promised him something. I'm not scholar so it's just my opinion, i hope our knowledgable brothers and sisters have something good to say. Allahu A'lam( Allah knows)

Sister, you did the right thing. Its not in your hand to make him use the money in halal way. So, you are already done.

You are required to do what ever in your hand, to refrain from sin and you did exactly that.
