When we think of the Mujahideen we rarely think of the many humanitarian these noble sons carry out in areas ravaged by war. In this excerpt from the Ansar’s latest magazine, we see a different side of Allah’s Holy Warriors.

In an article titled “Coherence and Heroism”, Ansar Al-Sunnah (the most consistent Mujahideen group fighting in Iraq since the invasion began) show several pictures of their Mujahideen distributing humanitarian aid to the residents of Samarra in Iraq leaving no doubt as to why the general public, young and old, love the Mujahdeen. Here are excerpt from that article.

In The Name Of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Compassionate.

Praise be to God and prayer and peace be upon the Messenger of God upon his family his companions and his followers.

To proceed:

Allah has said: “those who believed, and adopted exile, and fought for the faith, with their property and their persons, in the cause of Allah, as well as those who gave (them) asylum and aid-these are (all)friends and protectors, one of another” Quran 8:72.
.
Much has been said about the city of Samarra. The “information media” campaigns have increased the propaganda about the alleged victory and the claim to have restored order in the city. These are meaningless statements uttered by the rejected infidels, stubborn and unbelieving. They hold deep in their chests anger and the hatred for the city and its heroic people.
.
Therefore, we, your brothers in the Media Information Center of Ansar Al-Sunnah took the initiative in cooperation with the heroic people of Samarra, to expose such games and lies; especially that the enemy is not in a position to carry out such actions. Illusions can never become realities. Subsequently, and in a spontaneous move, we came out to the city’s streets to do the necessary coverage.

This coverage consisted of a tour taken by your Mujahideen brothers in which they took part in distributing the food supplies among the virtuous families of the city. Moreover, we then went to the main areas where we distributed information flyers among the Muslims.

All praise it to Allah! These simple illustrated scenes in this issue, are expressing the ways in which the city’s Muslim people are receiving their mujahideen brethren; extending to them the support and embracing them despite four years of the rejected crusaders siege for this city and others like it.
