Who Created God?
Plz Read It all as I spent time typing it up
The question itself is actually a fallacy; it doesn't make sense! How can God (Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) Be Created?! He wouldn't be God if He was created. He always existed.
Then they'll ask "How can God (Allah) always exist?" "Where did He come from?" Well, if He always existed, then He didn't come from anywhere, He's always been there! Duh!!
Then they'll say "How is that possible?" >>>Answer>>> There's a General Principle that states:
Either: Everything came from Nothing (which is IMPOSSIBLE) or... Something ALWAYS existed and Created everything that is created.
There is no other choice, so which is it? Did everything come from nothing - which is impossible - or did Something always exist and Created everything that is Created.
If we use our logic, then we'll know that NOTHING comes from NOTHING! So Something obviously Created everything and whatever Created everything obviously ALWAYS existed.
So let's try and figure out WHAT ALWAYS existed, because some people will simply say "Ok, so if Something ALWAYS existed, then the Universe, Matter, Time and Space ALWAYS existed and we don't need to invoke GOD (ALLAH) into the equation." ---- Well, here's the problem with that....
To claim that something is Eternal, which means it always existed and always will exist, to claim the Universe is Eternal is to apply properties of Infinity to the Universe. So let's try and apply properties of Infinity or Eternality to Matter, Time and Space, and if we can show you that Matter, Time and Space cannot be Eternal/Infinite....That means that they are Created by Something that is NOT Matter, Time and Space and are NOT within these either - which would then have the Properties of God, The Immaterial, Eternal and Omnipresent.
So let's show you that Matter, Time and Space CANNOT be Eternal:
Time: It's the measure of changes in matter. So, imagine flicking a light switch once. Now if I said to you "I'm gonna give a chocolate bar after you flick a light switch an infinite amount of times" - would I ever give you the Chocolate Bar....NO! because you cannot flick a light-switch an Infinite amount of times. 1,2,3,4,5.....You will go on forever and never reach Infinity. You would always have a Finite amount of light-switch flicks. So you cannot reach Infinity using Finite instances (You can't have an Infinite amount of Finite things). So Time we know had a beginning, because there couldn't have been an Infinite amount of Time before right now (otherwise we wouldn't be here!). Logic!! Could there be an Infinite amount of changes, because Time is the measure of change, could there be an Infinite amount of changes between two events like the chocolate bar example, could I give you something now and between an event in the future if there's an Infinite amount of changes (Time) between the two events....NO! Meaning....there couldn't have an Infinite amount of Time(changes) before right now, because we never would've reached this moment in time.
Matter: Take an object near you... How many times would you have to Multiply,Subtract,Add or Divide that object against itself in order to reach Infinity. You Cannot! That proves there's only a Finite amount of Matter, because you cannot have an infinite amount of finite things.
Space : So we know that Matter & Time are Finite, not infinite, which means they had a beginning, they are Created, which means Space cannot be infinite, because Space is only the measure of the distance between matter and if matter ceased to exist, there would be no space. If matter is finite then space is finite. because there's only a finite distance between the two farthest pieces of matter in all of reality.
Therefore, Matter,Time and Space are Finite! They had a beginning!
Then, What Created Matter, Time and Space? Well, if Something exists WITHOUT Matter, Time and Space... well, let's figure out the properties of Something that exists WITHOUT THESE.......
If you Exists without time (measure of change), that means that you never change. No past, present, future. There's only an Eternal Now!! This is why God (Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) knows the future!!
If you exist without matter, that means you are immaterial, u can't be touched, ur not tangible, u can't be seen, u can't be smelled, u can't be tasted, ur not made of matter.
If you exist without space, that means u are Omnipresent, u are everywhere, ur not bound by spacial restrictions.
So only Something that is Omnipresent, Immaterial and Eternal can Create Matter, Time and Space, because if it existed with matter, time and space, then M, T, and S, wouldn't be created.
And Omnipresent, Immaterial, and Eternal are all the Traits of God!!! Praise Be To Allah, The Lord of the Worlds!!!
Jazakallah Khairan. Your Brother in Islam sharing Knowledge with YOU. Sorry it wz so long!!!
