any punishment if we dont keep beard

im confused that having beard is sunnah rite. but wat if we dont have is there any punishment and wat abt the people who have stylish beard???

but wat about the length. i live in dubai here my imaan in the masjid have very short beard. but i think its sunnah that to hold ur beard with ur hand and beard goes outside the hand cut that off

and wat abt the french and stylish beard is that haram

My brother as far as the length and style of the beared is concerned, i haven't read anything in the bukhari or haven't heard from any scholar about it. All that i know is :

Saheeh Al-Bukhari
Volume 7, Book 72, Number 781:
Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said, "Cut the moustaches short and leave the beard (as it is)."
