Are We To Be Blamed?

by Bint Haroon

O Dear Muslims, if you were sincere

and tread the path of the righteous,

The living among you,

who didn't know the path to the straight,

would have fallen in love,

with Islam the real faith.

If you practised Islam the true way,

Your manners were the best

in what you thought and what you say.

Just by looking at you,

the unbelievers would have convert

to the religion of Islam

the perfect and true.

O Muslims, did we practise Islam

for ourselves and our family?

Did we not care for the

whole entire Ummah?

What will we say to our beloved

Prophet
saw23X22.gif

on Judgment Day?

He made so much effort

before he passed away.

Will he have a smile

on his face for us?

Or will he be unhappy

And his face turned away from us?

And won't we feel disgrace and injustice?

O Muslims, just don't pray for yourselves

and family.

Pray for the entire Ummah.

Very, very important..... Especially for sisters like us in the West..... remember, for those of us that wear hijab, every time we step outside our doors, we represent Islam for many people..... Are you the neighbour helping out, holding a door for an older person, smiling at a child, picking up a glass bottle and throwing it in the trash????

Or, are you the neighbour scowling at everyone who is not Muslim, shaking your head and not respecting anyone who you believe does not share your values????

Pray for the entire Ummah and remember it is all of our duty to spread good-tidings about Islam :)

What an eye opener. Thanks for the article sis. Practicing Islam is the best Dawah u can ever give to a non-muslim...... Our beloved Prophet was the best example in this :)

Asalam-w-Alaikum brothers/Sisters,

Yes i believe that the only way we can attract/convience the non-believers by our good behaviour and practicing the islam.

I have heard many stories from Tableeghi Jumat (the group of People who go for dawa), that the non-believers convert to islam just by looking at the good behaviour.

this is also important to note that these people do not come to our mosques, home, so we have to show good behaviour in public places where we interact with them.

A good Muslim is always a good Human being.

Wasalam.
