Asking for dua's that is shirk

Asalamu alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakahu Brothers and Sisters, I have a question regarding asking for another to make dua for you.

I have read it is ok to ask another who is living to make dua for you, but we cannot ask the dead to make dua for us, this is shirk.

I am wondering then if we are allowed to ask Eesa (alayhi wasallam) to make dua for us, (not to be confused with asking Eesa alayhi wasallam to answer our dua or give us blessing) but to make a dua for us as Eesa alayhi wasallam was taken to Heaven alive and has not yet died or is this considered Shirk?

I ask this out of confusion regarding asking the living to make dua's for us verses asking the dead.

Suban'Allah I just answered my own question from another posting regarding Eesa (alayhi wasallam) and remembered in Gospels, Eesa (alayhi wasallam) never told his followers to pray to him but instead to pray to Allah Subana Wa Ta'ala ONLY and I would think this would also apply to asking Eesa alayhi wasallam to pray for us

Intercession will be on the Day of Judgement, when the Prophet Muhammad (s) is alive.

Intercession on the Day of Judgement

The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “When the Day of Resurrection comes, the people will be milling around, then they will come to Adam (alaihis salam) and say, ‘Intercede for your offspring.’ He will say, ‘I am not able for that, but you can go and ask Ibraheem (alaihis salam), for he is the Close Friend of Allah (Khaleel-Allah).’ So they will go to Ibraheem, but he will say, ‘I am not able for that, but you can go to Musa (alaihis salam), for he is the one who spoke with Allah (Kaleem-Allah).’ So they will go to Musa, but he will say, ‘I am not able for that, but go to Eesa (alaihis salam), for he is the Spirit created by Allah and His Word.’ So they will go to Eesa, but he will say, ‘I am not able for that, but you can go to Muhammad.’” [Saheeh Bukhaari]

Suban'Allah! I just heard this Hadith in a lecture from Dr. Bilal Philips -- “If you can guarantee me you will not ask anyone for anything, the Prophet Sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, I will guarantee you paradise”

I look at this question and ask what was I thinking, was I at an unconscious state of disbelief to even ask such a question. The continual recitation of Al Fatihah alone should have made me stop, Suban'Allah, only a momentary laspse of the past from whence I came
