Assalamu Alaikum to all my brother and sisters in Islam, I am a New Muslim since October 2012 and this wll be my first Ramadan, I look forward to learning and sharing, I am and ex Christian Minister and yes it took me three years of Study to take my Shahada, I live in Ontario and have learned a lot about doing Dawah, I live my life like it was my last day so my Allah Guid us all and protect us, I am worried about messing up during the blessed Month of Ramadan

Welcome to big family of billions of muslims. Alhmdulillah Allah guided you to the Truth and I am jealous that you are sinless like a new born baby when you converted to Islam. Don't worry making mistakes in practising Islam and when fasting ramadhan, since you are baby take a baby steps, and parents of course will not punish the baby for making mistakes. Allah is Most Merciful, he created us weak/inperfect so that He can forgive us and show His Mercy. Trust me, if you put trust in Allah, Allah will make the fasting very easy and won't believe after the Ramadhan.

May Allah make it easy and protect you. Ameen
