Assalam Alaikum!

Ramadan mubarak to all Muslims.
I was just trying to comment on video of angela collins that was on video of converts to islam. In the video angela collins says salam to that fox news guy although you cant say salam to them.

Was she newly convert at that time or what??
I was just concerned. I just wanted to make sure that the newly convert are guided to the right. I mean what to do and what not to do.

Yes as for as I know when that interview took place she was a new convert, but let's not get worked up about minor mistakes like that, she is very brave for going out on television and expressing herself during a time when it was not so cool to be Muslim.

I second brother Sharingan's words..

Perhaps she was even flustered due to being on tv..it IS nerve-racking to be in that sort of situation..with lights aimed at the face..tens of cameras..tons of wiring..directions and warnings for broadcasting..people running around..and an anchor asking questions..

And sobhanallah..many Muslims mess up and use "Islamic terminology" with non-Muslims..many slip and say Salam..say inshallah..alhamdulillah..sobhanallah..wallahi..etc. because they're so used to it..so it is not a strange issue..it *can* happen to the best of us..so we shouldn't give it much thought :)
