Bad Habits/Addictions: avoid before its too late

the addiction could be any: drugs/alcohol/smoking/music/girls pictures/etc.

will we like to die with the words of songs of our tongue?

will we like to say "give me a glass of wine" on our deathbed?

will we like Islamic rule because Shariah Law will ban them? and not liking Islamic Rule is a sin too.

steps to change:

1-Admit that you can't give up

2-Admit only Allah can get you out of this

3-your life and death are all in Allah's control

4-Made a specific repentance to Allah

6-you were open and ready to receive Allah's help to change

7- you have asked for the removal of faults

8-Seek forgiveness of God

9-you have prayed for greater God-consciousness

Really shaitan has beautified for us these bad habits,and if anyone abhorred these bad habits that person is not modern he/she is somewhat nomadic person as they say.

May ALLAH guide u and me and give us the shade of his throne on judgment day.

astagfirullah!!!!!!!!!these addiction are prety common these days.it is these additcts that wud be following dajjal blindly even if b4 him they believed in one ALLAH.this very thought scares me and prevents me many sins.SOBHANALLAH!!!!!!
may ALLAH help us adopt the right path ameen.

So true- thanks for the tips- because I agree with sis *Seeking Allah's Mercy" that this IS too common and IS following dijjal AstagfirAllah. So I would encourage ALL member too look out for this- because even the Prophet Muhammad Salalahu Alayhi Wasalam who had NO sins would repent 100 times a day.

May Allah strengthen our hands to hold firmly onto the rope of Islam. Ameen
