Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullaah,
This was my lunch today.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 kilo tahong (mussels)
4 cloves minced garlic
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup grated cheese (preferrably quickmelt)
DIRECTIONS:
Place the Tahongs inside a pan without water and cover. Leave until their shells open. Drain and take off top shell then set aside.
Melt butter and add the minced garlic and saute for 3mins.
Brush butter-garlic mixture on to the Tahongs and put grated cheese on top of each.
Arrange Tahongs ready for baking. Bake in pre-heated oven with a low heat (250F). Bake for 10 - 15 minutes.
