salam alikom,

This is episode 1 of a series about the life of our Prophet (PBUH), you can watch the next episode on BBC Two, 9:00PM next Monday.

I couldn't spot any major errors in it, so it seems okay. Only UK residents can watch it on the BBC website, but feel free to try by clicking the link below:

Wa-alaykum-us-Salaam,

I haven't watched it but I've heard (Muslims) saying they are misrepresenting a few points or something like that. (Is this true?)

salam alikom,
I think some Muslims, well I was, annoyed that they were talking about complex issues, like hadiths and their strengths/ weaknesses, for example they mentioned the 'satanic verses'. In this weak narration, it is said that Muhammad (PBUH) received a revelation from Satan, then Allah sent him another revelation clarifying that it wasn't true. Although they did mention that it was a weak narration, I don't feel it was stressed enough. This is a bit too complicated for beginners to understand, so it might be taken the wrong way by non-muslims. Anyway, I didn't see any major problems in it, but I have my own opinions.

what I talked about is in the second half, you can watch it yourself if you want.
