It is essential to understand that to remain in possession of, or to be developed of, the greatest gift of Allah swt – for which we are so overwhelmed with gratitude depends primarily on knowledge. Without knowledge, we cannot truly receive Allah’s gift of Islam. If our knowledge is so little that we will receive only a small portion of it. It will cost you to constantly run yourselves into the risk of losing even that part of the magnificent gift which we have received, unless we remain vigilant in our fight against the ignorance and your own lack of knowledge.

Knowledge is the source of all goodness, ignorance the source of all evil and sin. Knowledge in Islam is synonymous with light and guidance. The net result of an educational system ought to be authentic knowledge, which, in turn, is expected to provide light and guidance to people.

Allah says, “say, 'Are those who know equal to those who do not know? ' Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.” (Az-Zumar: 9). That is to say: in the sight of Allah the Almighty people of knowledge are not equal to those who are ignorant.

The prophet Muhammad (SAW) commanded knowledge upon all Muslims, and urged them to seek knowledge as far they could reach, and also to seek it all times.

The mainstay of Islam is the Qur'an, the revelations of God as passed on to the Prophet Mohammad s.a.w. The Qur'an is the ultimate authority in legal and religious matters and is central to all aspects of Islamic society.

It plays an important role in our life especially in dunya and akhirah matter.
