Birds of Makkah

Whenever I've been to Makkah, I always remember seeing these small birds flying in and out of the grand mosque. Just wanted to know if anyone knows the name of these birds.

I think it is eagle?
Not sure!
If it is small then im not sure! But the bigone is eagle!Sometimes u can see it flying on top of masjidil-haram!

I think its called ababeel. i may have got the spelling wrong.

Theres a story in the Holy Qur'an about these birds chapter:105 The Elephant.

brother. I've researched Ababil and indeed they are the eagle like birds which I saw flying around the Ka'bah. They are found in various countries around the world and in Makkah. I wonder if these are the same type of birds described in Surah Al-Feel, who Allah sent to protect the Ka'bah.

assalamuayakum brother faruk76 it is not ababeel the mulana maki who give lecture in makkha was asked about this bird that is this bird is ababeel he reply that this is not ababeel allah only send that bird at that time which mention in Quran
