Bridling One's Rage
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever suppresses his rage, while he is able to exact it, Allah will call him before all of creation [on the Day of Judgement] so that he can choose whichever of the Hoor he wishes.” [Jami at-Tirmidhi]
It is quite difficult to suppress one’s emotions, especially at a time that one feels burning rage. But anyone who bridles this angry horse and controls his anger for the sake of Allah, will have Allah invite him before all of His creation on the Day of Judgement, to reward and honour him, by asking him to choose which of the Hoors he wishes for himself.
