As Salaam Alaikum My question is can Homosexuals/Gay People convert/revert/embrace Islam if they give up Homosexuality ? Can they be given Dawah or be Invited to Islam ? How does Islam view Ex Homosexuals from Non Muslim backgrounds could they revert to Islam if they never go back to Homosexuality again ?

Many ex-homosexuals agree that homosexuality is a choice.
Greg Quinlan, president of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays (PFOX), says, “I, as a former homosexual, along with tens of thousands of others who left homosexuality, [am] proof that it is not immutable; you can change." and "It is not innate; you are not born that way." There are also a number of Islamic ex-gay groups aimed at attempting to guide homosexuals towards heterosexuality; including the Straightway Foundation a UK based ex-gay organization which works with homosexual Muslims seeking to eliminate their same-sex attraction.

Its not a condition for them becoming a Muslim. If they believe in the Shahada by testifying that there is no God worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad :saw is the last and final Messenger, then they are Muslim.

People drink, do drugs and commit many sins and it doesn't stop them from saying the shahada. In Islam, homosexuality is a sin. For a Muslim it is something that is unquestionably wrong. Therefore, they will have to try and find a way to leave off from committing any sins.

Life is a test. Also to the homosexuals. They might have to live they life without any sexual partnership as they sexual interest.

But yes, gay people also can be muslims. Being gay is no sin, only act as gay is.

Dear brothers and sisters,
Islam is the religion of Allah and not Human made religion, the doors of this religions are open for every one if he is Jew or Christian, Hindu or Communist, if he gay or drunker, thief or killer whatever if he is he can inter to Islam. After accepting the Islam he has to give up every things which forbidden and haram in Islam and repent to Allah for his previous committed sins and must follow up the right way of Islam. After accepting the Islam if he committing any type of sin Allah will ask him and will give him the torture of bad actions or sins on the day of resurrection.
Allah knows better.
