I grew up in the USA celebrating Christmas as a totally commercial holiday , just for fun, you know the whole Santa Clause , reindeer , frosty the snowman , the stockings and the tree and presents. I believe in Islam 100% there is no doubt about that, I just don't understand why it would be wrong for me to put up the decorations and all that. After all it's more of a traditional thing than celebrating the birth of Jesus pbuh , I am well aware of the fact that he was not born on Christmas , I do not worship any pagan gods by decorating a Christmas tree nor do I worship the so called Saint Nicholas that ppl talk about . It's all for fun and I grew up with these traditions. Is It wrong to have a fun little tradition ? Celebrating Christmas does not change my testimony of Islam at all.
