Salaamalaykum waa rahmatullahi Akhi,
It is better to shoot a pm to one of the mod brothers on TTI. They will most probably have a good reason for doing so. It doesn't mean that what you had written was objectionable. I have had some posts that dont make it on TTI either. But Insha'Allah, having patience will make it easier for our mod bros and sis who have an uphill task taking care of this website.

Son if this was school you are in preschool and I am in graduate school for the number of posts I have had deleted. Just had two in the last 48 hours. I know of one other..and he is no longer on this site. And how I love him.. I love him as much as I love Mabsoot.

I agree that it can lead to some frustration when we don't find our posts on the thread after taking the time to post them. But we need to also look at the bigger picture at times.
As you can understand, the mods on this website have to moderate vast amount of threads and posts all over this internet web forum. It can be quite a tedious task (I have had some past experience as a mod on another web forum). Therefore, their delay in informing you (or not informing you) could be due to this reason. We should always give our fellow bros and sis the benefit of the doubt and excuse them Insha'Allah.
The mods on this website are very sincere Masha'Allah and they don't moderate posts out of arrogance or prejudice. They also don't delete or edit posts, but for the good of this forum and avoiding any form of heated arguments, deviations from topic, discussions that dont bring benefit etc. At the end of the day, we are all human beings and we all have our shortcomings in decision making or other aspects of judgement.
If we try to question their work often, it would make the task of running this website a very tough one. We have to remember that they don't get anything out of moderating this website. It's a privilege for all of us 1000+ members that we have some people dedicating their time to run and maintain this beautiful web forum.Therefore, we should cooperate with them and try to channel all our thoughts, opinions and grievances through private means Insha'Allah and try to excuse them even if we don't agree with them (which I don't think I have being a member for over a year or so).
I hope my posts makes some sense Insha'Allah.
May Allah subhaanahu waa ta'ala increase us in wisdom and make everything easy for us. Ameen

Stupid question here.. You're sure it wasnt' moved instead of deleted? I'm a moderator at other websites and I've moved threads to the appropriate section without telling someone and had them get really upset at me because they couldn't find it. If you already looked for it, I apologize, but I've had that happen so I thought I'd ask

Actually that's a good question; when I saw it wasn't in the section I was in I clicked on my own profile and looked at my own history of threads I had started, and it wasn't there.
Ah well, it was nothing more than a recent news article about a group of "Christian Extremists" who got arrested here in the US.

Brother my posts have been deleted before, and some times I was notified but other times I wasn't. I think there should be a standard policy, otherwise it becomes very frustrating, because first you can't seem to find your post and then secondly you don't know why your post was deleted. All the time and effort you put in it was wasted. And specially since this is an Islamic website which promotes Islamic values of respect and courtesy, so it is more important that moderators follow a standard policy consistent with Islamic values.
Now I wonder if they remove this thread. LOL.

One of the things that I love in Islam, is that we don't judge this persons singularly. Islam has pointed what is wrong in their Aqeedah, in their Tawheed, then for the rest, if the people don't follow the right way (Islam), we can expect a lot of things, even worse than that.
Salam Alaykum brother, and InshaAllah we will increase our knowledge in Islam.

Once it occured to me that the thread I posted a respond somehow got deleted a few hours after I posted some reminders as to not let the thread "sway away".
So, I feel kind of "sad" as I thought I posted a reminder (which was a bit time consuming) with the intention so that we will remember our reason and intention of being here.
So I PMed a mod asking regarding the particular thread:
Just thought of sharing it here.
And don't worry, I'm very sure Brother Danyal merely just wanted to ask why, far away of being emotional over it.
Also, recently, I noticed that the mods have been quite busy as we all are, but wherever they are, may Allaah grant them, and us, the strengths to carry out our responsibilities lillahi Ta'ala. InshaAllaah.
Anyways, I guess matters are cleared now and I don't see the need to lengthy up this thread, right everyone? :wink:
