...oh yeh

:salam2:

 thats funny - im not laughing at you but with you, no offence :)

I had to do this a few weeks ago and we weren't pre warned so i had no time to get nervous :p.

Be frank, you have no reason to fear them, you have no reason to feel inadequate in front of them, especially if its a class of non-muslims you need to speak in a way which befits a muslim ie with confidence....heheh yeh this is from a person who still doesnt quite manage it sometimes but its about practice and rising above anything and everything...

Thats a great thing to start off with, dawah from the very beginning :) speak about Islaam and what its done for you with utmost confidence. And no, you have to put it together yourself otherwise, it wont work.

You just gotta think 'I dont care what they think' < that attitude will work the best. And you really shouldnt care should you?

im very shy...im white but when i speaking in front on many people i become pink or red...lol

I bet you would be fine if you didnt blush right? lol cos...when you start blushing you just get more and more shy and you think 'omygoodness its soo obvious i dont want to stand here' lol and then you go from pink to red.... but... try not to :D

look, it wont work like that! okay - if youre that nervous - maybe - stand in front of the mirror and have a go at saying a few sentances about yourself, write them down and have another go, but if someone does it for you, youre going to sound like a robot............whats the big idea? honestly bro you need to chill

Trust yourself will you? If you dont, thats silly!

So brother Ansari, make dua to Allah annd do Istrikah Salat (Namaz) and keep practicing.

Doing Oral presentations isn't fun either. I remember in 5th grade when I had to do one and I was speechless (cause I didn't have much to say) and then some kids were sniggering at me. Lol.

im white but when i speaking in front on many people i become pink or red...lol

Well let me tell you a thing I remember brother.

So I was in Bangladesh this summer, and when I went to the MAdrashah (At my Thathe "Jaans" house), there was this tall and "strong" 18 year old boy with a Daree (beard) and he was white also. Lol.

He's also a Hafez too. And I remember when I was at Bangladesh for my last few days, I was going to my Dathe "Jaans" house and Him and this other Madrashah boy went by me on their bikes (the Madrashah kids always wear their Fanjabis outside of the Madrashah) and when I looked at him I started laughing because his face was pink and his ears were red like a tomatoe (I would've said cherries bro but I think you know what a tomatoe is :D).

His ears were probably red because he has trouble sleeping at night (either he reads Quran Shareef at night, or something else).

I remember there was this Jamaican Muslim who use to go to my masjid here a few years ago. He wears a Fagri (A Turban) and he has a glowing face.

So when I was in Bangladesh, I went to the Madrsahah at my Dathe "Jaans" place and I went to ggo see the Hafezshaeb Huzoor cause he said that he wanted to make me become a Qari in a few days and he said I recite beautifully, and so then these two men came in.

I've never sen them before, but the Huzoor told me that they were his old friends, one was a Hefez and another was a Moulana.

And the Moulana looked just like the Jamaican Brother who use to go to our masjid.

So then the Hafezshaeb Huzoor was introducing me to his friends and he told them about what kind of person I am.

When I ever went to the Madrashah, I always would discuss a Fatwa or say a Hadith, which astonished everyone, even the Huzoors.

They kept on telling my dad "that how do I know all these things?" Cause it was amazing to everyone to see a 13 yr old boy who knows so much Hadith, who does his 5 Salat, and who wants to become a Hafez and an Alim.

So it seems like I was like a miracle to them. Especially when I even talked sense to people.

Like my uncle bought me a rumal (those red and white cloths) and the Huzoors were teaching me how to put it on.

So the Qarishaeb Huzoor (THere's a Qari Shaeb and a Hafiz Shaeb, 2 differant Huzoors) and he was just joking with me and said I'll look like Bin LAden with a Fagri, and I told him,"So what if Usama wears a Fagri? This was a Sunnah of our Nabi Muhammad (SAW). Just because Usama wears it, and the Kafirs can't see us wearing it, doesn't mean that we should give up on Nabi (SAW)'s Sunnah and what Allah Ta Ala loves," which astounded everyone even more.

Gosh, Bangladesh was so great. It's the one place were I feel most loved and comfortable by everyone.

Introductions in my classes are always the hardest for me. Just don't drink coffee before it! Because I did one time and I was speaking so fast. I felt like I was speaking another language haha. I blush really bad too. This is why I wore the niqaab they wouldn't know haha.

What I usually do is to meet some of the other students around me to feel a little bit more comfortable before going up so at least have someone to look at and feel comfortable.

I usually state my name, say my religion, tell them I am not oppressed because if I was I wouldn't be standing there with them :D I usually go into my hobbies like reading.

What I realize in my classes is that people love to hear where you have traveled..so maybe you can include that.
