DESCRIPTION: German brother Abu Ibrahim giving a much needed talk regarding a neglected sunnah of the Prophet (s.a.w), the sunnah of being concerned with the affairs of the Muslims, wherever they are.
We all see the humiliated and downtrodden state of the Ummah, but we have to remember that Allah says in the Qur'an, "Verily, Allah does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves" (Qur'an 13:11) and thus the key to bringing about positive change is to follow the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (s.a.w) in all our affairs.
So when the Prophet (s.a.w) said, "Whoever is not concerned with the affairs of his fellow Muslims is not of them," as narrated by at-Tabarani, then it is upon us to be concerned for the state of our Ummah and work towards improving our situation, with the permission of Allah.
And we ask Allah to make us amongst those who help wake the Ummah from its slumber and lead it to victory.
Allahumma Ameen ya Raab.
