Could Israel ever forgive the Arabs?

In Israel, Palestinians are generally always referred to as 'Arabs' and rarely as Palestinians.

“When peace comes, we will perhaps in time be able to forgive the Arabs for killing our sons. But it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons." (Famous statement by Golda Meir, 4th Israeli PM 1969-1974)

Ironically her surname, Meir, means 'illuminate'.

Eventually he, along with others (Meir like)will illuminate for their works. May Allah forgives us.
