Hundreds of Muslims from the Dallas area will help distribute food, clothing, and toys and provide health screenings to more than 1000 local homeless people this Ramadan as part of Islamic Relief USA's (IR USA) annual Day of Dignity campaign.
In its eighth year, Day of Dignity is a nationwide campaign that recruits more than 2000 volunteers who in turn, serve around 20,000 homeless and people in need in 22 cities throughout America. Dallas's event, which is in its third year, will take place this Saturday at Masjid Al-Islam from 11 am to 2 pm.
