Death sentences

Death sentences seem to be increasing lately. And sadly, most of the time, we base our judgment of the "criminal" solely on the media's attitude.

I am afraid I get pulled out one day and all of the sudden I am charged with a bogus crime that I didn't commit. But you sitting home will watch the news and you'll see the headline "PEDOPHILE" or "MURDERER." And you will think I did it, because the fabricated storyline made me look like an evil person.

Then comes the death sentence, and you'll root for it! Eventually death sentences will be common punishments for "criminals" ranging from Holocaust deniers to truthers....all blending with your typical criminals.

That is why Allah sends revelations. To protect the innocent. But His Revelations require us to open our minds in order to protect the innocent.

That is so true. I know a family that was blamed for 9-11. they take them away for nothing. but alhumdoolaa they are back home and safe

Good thing that a jury selection include finding people who've not had media exposure to the accused, huh? This is why jury selection can sometimes be a long and arduous process. It is also why they change venue when they feel that it will be difficult to find untainted jurists.

Allaah is the Most Just and Most Merciful. So how can man made laws be just?
