I wish we do something to Islam this year,
I wish we do something to make our Prophet Mohamed PBUH happy with us when we will meet him in inshalla in Paradise,
I wish for Muslims be stronger and umma Islam be the stronger,
I wish Islam and Peace ARE spread the whole World,

Remember how our prophet Mohamed PBUH suffered with infidels and idolaters
to just make you know islam FOR YOU to BE MUSLIM

As-salaamu `alaykum.

Allaah and his Messenger legislated two `Eids for us. `Eid ul-Fitr, and `Eid ul-Adhaa. There is no `Eid Milaad un-Nabi as claimed by some of the Pakistani "scholars" who misguide the people saying it is in Saheeh Al-Bukhaari! Nor is there an `Eid for the new hijri year. Due to this we shouldn't imitate the pagans with sayings such as happy new year or happy hijri year, it is unislamic and not permitted.

Likewise, the concept of resolutions as I stated before in another thread, we make every time we make tawbah as oppose to neglectful our mistakes all but a few on the advent of the new year.
