Does the numbers "786" have any significance in Islam

I have seen the numbers "786" on various objects e.g. wedding invitations and at burial grounds etc. Does it have any meaning/significance in Islam?

786 is nothing more than the numerological value of Bismillah ir Raheem ir Rahman, it is a fairly recent innovation and has no value to any Muslim. Remember, "And every innovation is misguidance and every misguidance is in the hellfire." It is a superstitious good luck symbol, nothing more.

to avoid Basmala being disrespected, many in previous generations used its number value - 786.

but now, many muslims are using it as good luck thing.

so its better to avoid it.
