Walaikum Salaam Sister,
I'm only talking about the magnitude of Shyakh budair's understanding of tawheed that made him weep like that. I'm too small compared to him in knowledge and peity but if I get a fraction of what he's got. It'll be worth the experience in duniya and `Akhira.
Hope that's clear.
Ameen to your dua.
I echo, with an understanding of your OP. In other words, I agree, to reach (ie experience) that next 'sustainable' increment in our tawheed, is a worthy wish. In addition it prevents relapse, when combined with righteous deeds, sincere intentions and humbleness. So yes, it will be worthy life, hence rewarding (in here and hereafter), when we exert and ensure the graph goes up...
But we are in a age, where progress is measured with external materialistic metrics, they usually prove superficial, in long run. We all know this. But deep down in the psyche, it usually lingers, thanks to the cultivated killer competitive mindset, not all succeed to shake it off. Hence having a mindset thats aware of these pitfalls, is also essential. Am done, with saying.
JazakiAllaahukhairan
