Assalamu'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh
I have this confused state of mind regarding du'a. I have heard from many people that making du'a in any other language other than arabic is not to be done in Fard salah. It MAY be done in supererogatory prayers...but it's better to do them in arabic if one knows the language. If that is the case then WHEN CAN I MAKE DU'A IN ENGLISH? IF NOT IN SALAH WHEN? HOW CAN I EXPRESS MYSELF TO ALLAH THE LORD OF THE WORLDS?VEEEEEEEEeeeeery confused!!
..if not in salah, can i do it while walking, just sitting down and reflecting over things etc....?WHEN? Also, when should a du'a be made in salah? After tasleem or before? if some one could help me in this issue please...i am in need of clarification...Jazak ALLah
