I don't live in England...but have heard about the EDL? Are they the equivalent of America's Tea Party/White Supremacist/KKK? Please someone enlighten me on their whole "goal" or "purpose"??? thank you.

I really hate al-muhajiroon. Islam is a peaceful religion. Why are they holding up placards saying "Go to hell", acting like they're guaranteed heaven? What's the point? They're just giving the rest of us a bad name. If they don't know of the right way to react, then they should just shut it.

They don't really have a purpose to be honest, they don't even have any policies, they just want an end to immigration and immigrants to 'go back home'. They're a bunch or drunken idiots, utter jokes who people don't take seriously, their only threat is racist attacks.
