Embracing Islam - The Blessing for mankind “In Word and In Deed”
Clearly, the world of today is gripped by falsehood, acrimony and injustice all across its borders. This era is sadly turning into an era of ignorance- ignorance of the basic principles of mankind like Equality, Justice and Empathy, owing to severe lack of knowledge, acquaintance with half truths leading to misinterpretation, and malicious propaganda towards ISLAM and its followers.
The majority of people fail to distinguish between "right" and "wrong" owing to distortion of facts, thus causing colossal damage to stability all-around.
Associating terrorism with Islam has been the biggest blunder in the history of mankind. Islam has never sanctioned any form of unlawful action against innocent people belonging to different religion. Even during the battles, Islam forbade any kind of harsh treatment towards its prisoners of war; in fact Muslim armies were instructed to treat their captives in most humanely manner.
The beautiful virtues of Islam can be perceived from the following saying of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) who said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one". People asked, "O Allah's Messenger! (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) It is all right to help him if he is oppressed, but how should we help him if he is an oppressor?" The Prophet (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) said, "By preventing him from oppressing others."
Today Islam is intentionally being associated with the chaos in the world to further enrage the mindset of Muslims. Any person or a group responsible for the murder of innocent people has clearly transgressed Islam. Clearly, an individual's unlawful action can in no way be linked to Islam.
As In Islam, its Holy Book-The Quran lays down:
"Whosoever kills a human being (without any reason like) manslaughter, or corruption on earth, it is though he had killed all mankind" (5:32).
Further Islam establishes Equality in the words of Holy Prophet Mohammad (Peace and Blessings Be Upon Him) that:-
"No Arab has any superiority over a non Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab. Nor does a white man have any superiority over a black man or the black man any superiority over the white man. You are all the children of Adam, and Adam was created from clay."
Thus Islam established equality for Mankind and dismantled the base of all distinctions based on color, race, language or nationality.
The principles of Islam should be made known to the world for the sake of humanity.
The conflicts in all parts of the world such as Palestine, Chechnya, Kashmir, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Iran, Sudan and rest of the places can be impeded if world organizations as well as the citizens act judiciously without bowing to any kind of pressure or sweet-talk from the crooked nations.
However, the grisly situation in Iraq is a grim reminder that humanity is loosing its ground in the west.
The superficiality of the west is wearing off exposing its cold and cruel face. The west is accountable for the Death of thousands of Iraqis owing to the senseless bombings that rocked the nation, while the rest of the world watched the images of blood and gory in silence.
As a matter of fact USA lost its credibility when it used the "Real" Weapon of Mass Destruction - the Atomic Bombs against the Japanese resulting in the gruesome death of thousands of innocent civilians in Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. Thus, if there is to be any danger to the world due to the Weapons of mass destruction, then USA surely belongs to top of "the league of major threats" to the world Peace.
But Ironically, USA today speaks untiringly of the dangers of the unconfirmed "Weapons of Mass Destruction" in Arab Countries!
The media too is responsible for the bloodbath of innocent Iraqis, due to the propaganda they carried prior to the invasion of Iraq, all based on spurious data of the CIA and other so called Intelligence Agencies.
To this day, nothing is being done to stop the carnage in Iraq. The Arab leaders' failure in averting the unjust war in the Gulf is duly accredited to their shoddy attitude in world affairs.
The lives lost were precious, only Hope will heal the sorrow of the victims....
