evidence for visiting and praying to the dead person

ASSALAMULAIKUM WARAHMATHULLAH !!

i hope evryone are in good state of health and imaan....

Can anyone help me out by giving the evidence from the teaching of prophet(saw) regarding visiting the grave and making duaa to the prophet(saw) and the great awliah..

and could anyone get me the evidence from quran and sunnah that prophet(saw) and those pious people are dead in their grave...


I JUST NEED PROOFS TO POST IT TO MY FRIEND WHO STRONGLY BELIEVES THAT PROPHET(SAW) IS STILL ALIVE IN HIS GRAVE AND HE (SAW) WILL INTERCEDE FOR US IF WE MAKE DUAA TO HIM......

And also she had send me many evidence proving that she is right.....and with my limited knowledge i recognized that most of them are weak hadeeths.....but i really dont know how i will clarify it to her......


i hope someone can help me out with the exact evidence from the light of quran and hadeeths that she is traveling in the wrong path....
