Here is just a few questions regarding your personal views of Islam.

* what is your favorite verse in the Quran and why?
*what is you favorite thing about Islam(i.e. dress code, prayers,etc)

my favorite thing about Islam is the dress code. that is what made me want to convert.. i loved the hijab and how the Muslim women wore them, and my fave verse is the one where Allah is commanding everyone to" lower you gaze and cover yourselves". :ma: also, do any of you have any fun websites for others to go to?

It's really difficult to say which verse/s are my favourite as the whole Qur'an is something special. I love the verses which describle the attributes of Allah(swt) and paradise like Surah56: Al-waqia. I like surah Ar-rahman very much.

My favorite verse of the Quran is Ayat al Kursi from Surat al-Baqarah (2:55), it's the verse of the throne and has many benefits when you say it:

Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Haiyul-Qaiyum
La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm,
lahu ma fis-samawati wa ma fil-'ard
Man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnihi
Ya'lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum,
wa la yuhituna bi shai'im-min 'ilmihi illa bima sha'a
Wasi'a kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard,
wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma Wa Huwal 'Aliyul-Adheem

"Allah! There is no god but He - the Living, The Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him Nor Sleep. His are all things In the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede In His presence except As he permitteth? He knoweth What (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. My favorite thing about Islam is the brotherhood and sisterhood, we can be complete strangers yet still have a close bondage, here in America when a stranger says "hi" people look at him/her like "what a weirdo" "i don't even know him/him" but in Islam when you say "salaamalikum" it brings you closer and very warm when you just say it and because Allah loves that

I love the whole Quran.But to be specific.hmmm
There r a lot.AR-RAHMAN,AL-WAQIAH,AL-HADID,AL-MULK,AS-SAJDAH,AL-KAHFI,Yaseeen,and many more.

Quran is the manual book for human.SO in order to be a good Human being.Read and learn the whole Quran.

I like the concept of taubah very much because taubah had change me from a bad muslim to a better one.And forgiveness in ISLAM.Do u guys read bout the person who is forgiven and get away from QISAS in saudi.The person is one of the pillgrims and finished performing hajj THIS YEAR!What a wonderful story.He is forgiven by his uncle for killing his aunt just several minutes before his head is chop of for QISAS!And he is forgiven without paying diyat even one penny!MASHAALLAH!
