:salam2: Brother read ayatul kursi, and sleep with wudu

Shahih Targhib wa Tarhib of Al Mundziri, takhrij by syaikh Nashir Al Albaani. Rasulullah 'alaihi Shalawatullahi wa Salaam said that Malaikat will spend the night inside the clothes of someone who do Wudhu before he sleep and he asleep while the Wudhu remain.

prophet(sw) said to hazrat anas(rd): " Son! If you can spend all your time in a state of wudu then do so, because when the angel of death captures the soul of a person in a state of wudu, he is written down as a martyr.

(kanz-ul-ummal V9 Hadith no. 26060)

We all fear death any how sleeping or awake , but if you want to sleep try to make wooduoo and recite Ayat alkursi and surat alkilas and almuawithat three times then say La ellah Ella Allah muhammad Rasool Allah ...then sleep ....if we die in this state ...I pray that Allah will give us Janna.

lool, I was going to say that walahi:) I would like to die while a sleep because it's not painful and like a-stranger said if you say La ellah ila Allah Muhammad rasool Allah then those are the last words you uttered which means if youy die in that state you will get Jannah for the prophet SAW said *whoever utters the shahada before death comes to him, he will enter jannah*something along that line, dont remember the exact hadith.inshaAllah a brother or a sister will provide it for you:D
Allah hafiz now and always:D

Well a Muslim should not be fearful of 'death' itself, what he/she should be fearful (or mindful) of is whether he is ready to die or not i.e. what he has prepared for akhirah.

...So be mindful of your duty to Allah, O men of understanding, that ye may succeed. (5:100)

I agree with you in this we should not fear death itself but what we should fear is whether we have done enough good deeds to meet Allah or not

"He who supplicates in these terms during the day with firm belief in it dies on the same day (before the evening) he will be one of the dwellers of jannah; and if anyone supplicates in these terms during the night with firm belief in it and dies before the morning, he will be one of the dwellers of jannah"
(Al-Bukhari)

"Oh Allah! You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped but you. You have created me and i am your slave, and i hold to Your covenant as far as i can. I seek refuge in you from the evil of what i have done/ I acknowledge the favours that You have bestomwed upon me, and i confess my sins, for none but you has the power to pardon"

InshaAllah, pray this in the mornings and evenings akhi :)
And do not be fearful of death.. We will be meeting our Rab.

“Verily, we are all from Allah, and to Him is our return.”

Wa'aleykumsalaam,

I went through this a couple of years ago. I found myself struggling to stay awake coz somehow i was conviced i'd die in my sleep!

My brothers and sister have given you excellent advice inshaallah you'll benefit from it. Personally, i never sleep without doing all my duas (you'll find these in hisnul-muslim)plus ayat kursiy, the three quls and the last vesrse of sura Baqara.

May Allah remove this waswasa from you.
