For a muslim in the United States, is it okay to take the English name of a prophet?

For a muslim in the United States, is it okay to take as our own first name the English name of a prophet instead of the Arabic name?

For example:
- Elijah instead of Ilyas
- Noah instead of Nuh
- Enoch instead of Idris
- Abraham instead of Ibrahim
- Ezra instead of Uzair

Why are you obliged to take an arabic name? Is this correct
