Travelling towards my grave.
assalam 'alaikum wrahmatullahi wabrakatuh my dear beloved brothers and sisters
I do hope that you all are enjoying the fruits of this Ramadan and getting closer to Allah (subuhaanahu wata'aala).
Always keep in your mind that its first ten days are about blessings of Allah, second ten are for forgiveness of Allah and the last ten is about prevention from the (Hell) Fire.
I just wanted to inform you all about this particular Hadith about which we need to be extra careful.
It was narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) ascended the minbar and said: “Ameen, ameen, ameen.” It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allaah, you ascended the minbar and said, ‘Ameen, ameen, ameen.” He said: “Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me and said: ‘If Ramadaan comes and a person is not forgiven, he will enter Hell and Allaah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen. He said: ‘O Muhammad, if both or one of a person’s parents are alive and he does not honour them and he dies, he will enter Hell and Allaah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen. He said: ‘If you are mentioned in a person’s presence and he does not send blessings upon you and he dies, he will enter Hell and Allaah will cast him far away. Say Ameen.’ So I said Ameen.”
This Hadith is Narrated by Ibn Hibbaan, 3/188; classed as saheeh by al-Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1679.
Subuhaanallah! Subuhaanallah!
Surely even this particular Hadith alone will be sufficient for us to think and correct ourselves.
The 'Trustworthy' of Heavens is makind Du'a and the 'Trustworthy' of Earth is saying Ameen. Will there be any question that this Du'a to be accepted?
Where are our Mothers and Fathers? When did we talked and asked about them? What was the last time we prayed for them?
How many times do we hear the name of our beloved Prophet (sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam) everyday and night, and how many times we say "sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam" when we hear it?
Ramadan is here. Still there are a lot of time my beloved dear brother and sister. Lets correct ourselves before death catches us.
May Allah accept from us. Ameen!
