Islam is a way of life
First of all, please forgive me if this is in the wrong area, I tried my best to place it.
This is a amazing but heartbreaking book by Brother James Yee, a Muslim Chaplain who worked for the military and was sent to Guantanimo Bay as a Muslim Chaplain for other Muslim military men as well as the detainees.
His experience is unique from any other personnel I've heard of while serving in Gitmo, and this book is NOT for the faint of heart. Also, he is a Chinese-American Revert Muslim.
It gives us the face of truth of what has went on there and may be still going on, who really knows since rarely information is ever leaked from there.
If you read the book, please let me know what you thought of it. Honestly, I'm not all the way through yet, about halfway but Its so engrossing I'll be done with it soon insha'Allah.
Again, the book is "For God and Country" by James Yee
