The scholars of islam based on the quran and the sunnah, they said that a person can give his own wife or she can give her husband or even a person can give themselves the evil eye. Eg: constantly looking in the mirror, combing your hair or brushing your hair making sure those waves are in order, constantly looking at the beautiful beard that Allah has given you, constantly brushing your hair in the mirror being concerned about how much so that… you give yourself the evil eye.
The nema of Allah should not be over looked at or show it off or talk and mention it constantly.

on this similar topic but i thought i'll add this as a new thread so to make sure everyone can listen to it. its really really good information.
it teaches us how we should not reject the sunnah of Rasoolallah (saw) of the unseen world. and how Jelousy and envy / hasad had a spiritual effect on us even psychological effects not just casting majic.
its amazing i tell you.
im not sure what sheikh this is but its still great and amazing information.
it tells us in part 2 how Allah loves us and of his nema, bouties, grace and favours.

the first disobeydiance created in the heavens was hasad, envy etc where that person wishes that that person did not have it or loose it and it comes to them so they can have it. not sure how to explain it.
jealousy and envy, evil eye, hasad, etc, whether they do it knowingly or unknowingly it is still out there and part 3 explains it alllllll. its just amazing.
