Friendship on the forum

Assalamu alaikim brothers and sisters:
I think that since we are on Islamic forum , friendship on this forum should be only between a brother and a brother, or between a sister and a sister. This is better for us to keep an Islamic pure attitude...........we can discusse matters together on the forum but no friendship requests between opposite gender unless they are muhrams. I consider all brothers as my real brothers and sons but This I think is nearer to Taqwa. What do you think ? And Sorry if I said anything wrong.

We will improve the friendship issue in future, so it conforms with Islamic rulings and is more easily updated. It is on our todo list. In meantime you can choose in privacy options not to allow opposite gender to add or message.

You can also deny friendship requests from brothers if you like. I do that quite often.
