GALILEO'S THEORY AND THE HOLY QURAN

did you see how much time is passed from the revelation of the Holy Quran?
And how even if the Time erases everything,only the Quran hasn't been edited nor forgotten?I read it many times,but I am still surprised about the amount of things that it teaches.How could the Human being know that in the 7th century there were 7 Earths and 7 Heavens and that they all rotated around the Sun?At that time there was no knowledge about it.I suppose that it was thought that the Earth was circular and that over the horizon people fell down,till and maybe much after Galileo Galilei.He realized what it had been written nearly one thousand years before...The Church of his time condamnded Galileo Galilei to deny his theory of rotation of the planets around the Sun.Why did the Christians accuse a man who was just telling the truth?Did the Christians of the 1600 know that the Earth was spherical,but they feared the power of the Church?I heard some years ago that the Pope asked forgiveness to Galileo Galilei for the Church's ignorance.What can he do now that he's died?will the Church ask forgiveness to Islam for its mistakes and finally will admit that ?

maybe you're right,Church was able to deny the evidence and it is still hidding its sins(i.e. pedophily,one of the worst sins in a place like the church)...what would you do if yoe had lived in the time of Galileo G.,in which you knew the truth about the rotation theory of planets:would you have denied everything not to be tortured till death,or not?
the mistakes that the Church made in the time of Inquisition are unforgiveable,many innocents died because they were judged guilty of withcraft or of having contrary opinion about the real function of the prophet 'Isa 'Alihi Salam...everyone in sh Allah will pay his dues.but in secret,I bet that many members of the Church intimally admit the truth,but they deny it because it gives them the chance to gain easy money,isn't it?
