Getting involved in Christmas as a Muslim - Islam Veiwpoint

Easier said then done in Western Countries when you are the only Muslim in your family. I have Christmas dinner with them but there is nothing religious about it, its more of a "lets not kill a family member" time for my family. I get a gift from my grandmother and that's it.

Yes it may be difficult, and i understand that. However, the ruling of Islaam on matters like these need to be made clear as there are millions of Muslims and not everyone is facing same problem. Secondly, a persons own difficulty would not change the ruling of Islaam. What a person should do is ask Allaah to make things easy for them, and if one does things that are not allowed in Islam, he/she should ask Allaah for forgiveness
