Gray Muslims

Salaam,

A dear older brother spoke to me about grey Muslims. I told him I did not understand the expression. He stated a grey Muslim is one who is scared and does not wish to uphold Islam.
I see many grey Muslims. We are Muslims as long as we do not have to be responsible. We can quote the Quran, we can point fingers at other Muslims, but no we will still bow our heads to non-Mulsim ideologies, rulers, fashion, and at bottom believe that they are better.
Where are the simple Muslims? Those who worship the Creator and not His creations? The Messanger did not have modifiers/adjectives before the word Muslim. Let us go back to good old Muslim.

I agree 100% my sister... There is no such thing as Moderate Muslim, Friday Muslim, etc etc.... a Muslim is ONE who obeys Allah(swt) and implements the 5 pillars and lives according to shariah law (ALLAH(swt) law).

I agree as well!We,as muslims,should just try to be the most "simple" people on the earth....with no need of all those material things that are around us every day.
No lots of food,no lots of clothes,lots of tv,lots of talking about silly things...alhamdulillah!We are muslims.....we just need our Qur'an & Sunnah...InshaAllah

i say if someone calls some one moderate , shrug it off. They only call u moderate because you dnt think like them and they are trying to force there opinion on you.

We all should take things slowly and learn at our pace and ask for guidance from Allah.

Not someone talking you into joining a sect as a political pawn.
