Do you ever get that feeling, when you read a verse from the Qur'an , that you are completely safe, and left in the serenity of God?
The feeling when you're so taken aback from a verse of the Quran, that you almost fall from your chair?
To me, science is the counterpart to religion. Without science, religion is void of any point. However, I now know of the unique attribute that has been accorded to the Qur'an---carrying scientific knowledge, that no book has ever had.

Today in Science class, we had been learning a lesson, which we would later be tested on, about the 7 atmospheres strucutred on top of the earth. ( And their mandates )
And later on today, I was listening to the Qur'an. And I came along this verse.
From Chapter 78: An Naba
"Concerning what are they disputing? (1) Concerning the Great News, (2) About which they cannot agree. (3) Verily, they shall soon (come to) know! (4) Verily, verily they shall soon (come to) know! (5) Have We not made the earth as a wide expanse, (6) And the mountains as pegs? (7) And (have We not) created you in pairs, (8) And made your sleep for rest, (9) And made the night as a covering, (10) And made the day as means of subsistence? (11) And (have We not) built over you the seven firmaments, (12)
After reading exactly, this verse, I was completely taken aback from the scientific proof it had, while giving a moral lesson! I had that feeling that I was in the serenity of God.
Anyone had that happen to them?
