9/11 Muslim 1st Responder Gets 'Dis-Honored' by NYPD
Allah Almighty Says About Heros in His Speech to us (Quran 5, 37):
Allah Almighty Says About Heros in His Speech to us (Quran 5, 37):
"..whoever kills one (innocent person) it is as if he killed all of mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he saves all of mankind entirely.
And Allah's prophets certainly came with clear proofs.
Then indeed, many of them throughout the land were evil-doers."
[Quran - Chapter 5, verse 37]
A man died doing exactly that!
He was saving innocent lives on that fateful day in Manhattan, NY - the day we all know too well - as September 11, 2001 or 9/11.
His name was 'Mohammad Salman Hamdani'.
According to the Quran, Mohammaed Hamdani was doing the very best thing humans can do for each other - saving lives.
Mohammad Hamdani was trained as an expert in emergency situations. His expert training had prepared him for many things to do in all types of emergencies, both as an EMT (emergency medical technician) and as a New York Policeman.
Mohammad Hamdani died like 2,000+ others on that day falling hundreds of feet to his death and being crushed amongst the steel girders, glass and metal in a most horrific death - trying to save the lives of others.
But there was no hero's honor for the sacrifice of the life of Mohammad Hamdani. His family did not have anything to show for their loss - except more grief, courtesy of the prejudices associated with anyone who is Muslim.
Mohammad Hamdani's name is not listed along with the official list of 1st responders at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum in Manhattan, New York.
It won't do any good to search the list of those who died in the Twin Towers on the day that has been etched in the memories of every human on earth, watching those buildings falling down upon their victims, again and again.
In fact, instead of being listed as a real hero that he was - Prejudiced investigators listed him as a likely "terrorist" and kept the real findings from his family for months afterwards.
According to certain prejudiced individuals existing amongst our politicians today, Mohammad Hamdani doesn't deserve to be remembered for his heroic sacrifice, for trying to save lives even though it cost him his life - at least not according to those who decide who are heros and who are not.
In fact, investigators of 9/11 tried to make Mohammad Hamdani out to be one of the terrorists himself. Imagine that? They listed him as one of the Sept. 11 plotters and they did not notify his family for months, even though they had found his remains right there under the North Tower rubble.
The NYPD, his own employer - even joined along with the conspiracy against anyone having a Muslim name and they even circulated Mohammad Hamdani’s picture along with other Muslims pictures and descriptions givning orders to “hold and detain” in connection with the terrorist attacks.
These people had listed Mohammad Hamdani right along with suspects being accused of his and others murders on 9/11.
Who was Mohammad Hamdani, really?
He was an American from Queens, N.Y. He was by every measure as much American as many of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, as much as any of our forefathers who migrated here over the last few centuries seeking liberty, freedom and justice for (ALL?)
Mohammad Hamdani was a 'Hero'! - A big hero - according to Islam; according to the Quran; according to Allah's Messenger Muhammad, peace be upon him! He died saving human lives, innocent men, women and children.
His remains were found under the rubble of the North Tower, crushed and mutilated almost beyond recognition. He paid the ultimate price in this life. And Allah will reward him with the highest of honors in the Next Life, inshallah.
So, why no mention of him amongst the heros? Why no honors for his memory? Why nothing to show to his family in their time of grief and loss?
Why - INDEED?
Well, he wasn't totally left out of the historic event associated with his death. His name was listed, but not with the heros, not with the 1st responders, not with anyone of those who suffered agonizing deaths in the burning, falling, crushing towers.
No.
There is a list of victims, but no connection to the 9/11 carnage at Ground Zero - that is where you will find his name, just another victim by chance, perhaps a passerby or an onlooker.
But Mohammad Hamdani was certainly not treated as the hero we know he was.
This is simply wrong.
Memorial organizers have to display his name in the proper place, right alongside of his fellow 1st responders who all paid the ultimate price on that day. And this needs to be addressed right now! While the politicians are coming around like beggars asking for our support in the upcoming elections - this is the time to let them know about Mohammad Hamdani and others like him, who have been pushed aside, kicked around and even after giving their own lives trying to save other fellow Americans - treated like dirt.
This doesn't work. But it is now our fault! That is right - It now becomes our duty to speak out against any such injustices. We have a voice and it is election year - Our voice at the polls will speak loudly on behalf of Mohammad Hamdani and all Muslims living here in America.
These few people who hate Islam, hate Muslims and hate Allah are showing their own true colors. They are definitley prejudiced and they are the ones who do not deserve to be in positions of authority within our government.
Every self-respecting American citizen should look to the words and deeds of these people who are destroying the very principles the Constitution of the United States represents.
By the way - Mohammad Hamdani was finally recognized by the New York City Police Department, as someone who did die - They did know who he was.
The proof? The NYPD did bury him — but not with the Hero's Honors of the 1st Responders given to those who died right next to him.
Mohammad Hamdani had just taken the test for the police academy right before his death. His family says he most probably saw the burning towers on his way to work and did what he had been trained after months in police and EMT training - he ran toward downtown Manhattan to try to save lives - because that is what real Muslims do.
Getting this story right is important. Not just for Hamdani’s memory or for his family's feelings, but for our history books, too.
It’s important to remember that innocent Muslims died on 9/11, people who had made the United States home and who, like Mohammad Hamdani, were in every way Americans, but more important - on the Day of Judgment those who sacrificed while believing in the One God of Adam, Abrahman, Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus Christ and Muhammad (peace be upon them all) - These people will be given the ultimate Hero's Reward with Allah - PARADISE!
This story helps all of us better understand the real world around us all, today.

Editor's After thought -
By the way, did you know the full story of World War II includes a shameful episode where some people in our government banished many Japanese-Americans to internment camps - Just because their ancestors were from Japan?
Now look how some folks in our government today treat Muslims as though we are the target for their War On Terrorists - simply because we are Muslims.
Think about this - Not long ago a small group of Islam Haters in Florida used their voices to influence politicians and big business people with similar attitudes. They succeeded in forcing the Lowe’s hardware chain to pull advertising from a TV show about the daily lives of Muslim-Americans. At the time, it was the only TV program produced by Muslims for Muslims in America. Now it is gone.
Good news is - we now have our own full TV channel for Muslims anywhere, in the English language, broadcasting all across the United States, Alaska, Hawaii and even Canada - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Find out more on www.GuideUS.TV
The question now is - Who cares?
Do we care?
