Hegira calendar

alhamdulillah i always specify sometime from my lecture to take about our deen and today i got a new information
someone told me that Hegira calendar is exited before the birth of rasullAllah
and its originally called Arabic calender
i dont get that please tell me what is the right information

if hejirah calendar was before RasulAllah then why is it called hejirah calendar? hejira was after 13 years in makkah from start of islam

they added extra days called nasee' ? wow. now this is new information i never knew!

The Arabs' calendar was always lunar, even before Islam, and the names of the lunar months never changed, such as Ramadhaan and Zhul-Hijja. God says in the holy Quran, "Verily, the count of months with God is twelve months since the day He created the heavens and the earth. Four of them are sacrosanct." (9:36) The pagans, however, added extra days to the calendar, called Nasee', at will, which God has condemned in 9:37.

What Islam did was end the extra days and make the calendar truly lunar. It also started counting from the year of the Hijra.
