Assalamu alaikum, I am a Brazilian new muslim, I'm 21, and I came here to learn more about Islam. I am studying History in a university I want to be a big historian and write books to defend Islam. Well, I just wanted to write this post to say HELLO.

I hope you will benefit from this website in sha' Allah.
That is really great ma sha' Allah that you are taking history lessons and want to defend Islam.Islam has always been misrepresented by western and western minded oriental historians.A scholar told us once that history can be made to appear any way you want it to look.By either choosing good events and showing them in a good way or by choosing a bad picture and showing a bad picture.It can really be played with.
It'd be really great if someone bought out the true picture.

It is a wonderful thing that you are striving for, as we can never have enough people willing to spread the truth of our deen and who are willing to defend it through the dissemination of knowledge. I applaud your decision to study history and hope to one day read your books.
