dear brothers and sisters, i hope you are all fine inshallah
i have a question, it has been repeatedly mentioned in the quran but, i do not know exactly what it means. for example in sura alnissa: 004.036
the part that says :- (and what your right hand possess) what is the meaning of that sentence?
can someone clarify please.

as we do not own slaves now it could mean the other?
but in other places it says your wives,and what your right hand possess

its both. this may sound weird but a master could have sexual intercourse with their woman slave in order to keep her chaste ..i had the same question myself till i came across an answer from a scholar from islamqa.com..i'll try to see if i can find you the link...
